I am grateful that even though Samantha's birthday is in the summer, her teacher is smart enough to celebrate 1/2 birthdays! Friday was Samantha's half birthday and she was WAY more excited for this than she ever has been for her real birthday!
I think she was just really excited to share it with her school friends and wear the birthday crown and have me come to her school.
I was able to go spend some time at school with her and share her favorite book with her class. We also made a poster with some pictures of her from the past 5 1/2 years. It was so cute to see her cute smiles especially while the class sang happy birthday to her.
Alex loved being there too! He really wanted to stay with his sister all day. Frankly, I wanted him to stay too!

we do love their sweet teachers. happy 1/2 birthday little girl.
That is a great teacher to celebrate half-birthdays. My sister always had the lamest birthdays (according to her :) because her birthday is in August just before school starts.
