Please leave a comment telling me which one of these you like best so far. This won't necessarily be the final name because I am making a double batch for Andy's work on Monday and having them submit names as well. But they are programmers mostly and not too artsy, so we'll see what they come up with!!!
1. Chewy Gooey Melmac Cookies
2. Gooey Chocolate Melmac Cookies
3. Choco-Mel-Nut Cookies
4. Gooey Choco-Mel-Nut Cookies
or, on a totally different wavelength...
5. Triple Threat cookies

Hi Kristi! Remember me? Your "OLD" Payson neighbor! Your blog is soooo cute! I seriously had to comment on your cookies. They look unbelievable! Did you get this from your mom? :) I just wanted to say hi and I like the name Triple Threat Cookies. Good luck! Tell your folks "HI" for me ok?
Sorry....I forgot...It shows up as SLT. I am Sheri Taylor! :)
I have no idea sister. That's a toughie. Just call them plain GOOD! Thanks for the sample!
Triple threat is my favorite. It's easy to say and memorable.
I just noticed that someone commented in the other post about the name that's been running through my head all day - Chewy Chocomels. It's catchy, easy to remember, and flows well. I wonder with "Melmac" if it will be obvious enough what that stands for - in other words, do people have to work too hard to get it?
Sorry can't get into the "melmac" thing, you do realize that Melmac is the name for plastic dinnerware that was created with the use of melamine(and coincidentally the home planet for ALF)so it makes me think plastic..urgh not a good connection with food....I'd vote triple threat as well...since I think you could use lots of different variations on these yummy cookies(Oooh I wonder how a reeses peanut butter cup would taste inside?)
I like Triple Threat. Easy to say, easy to remember.
I would go with Triple Threat Surprise. (You mentioned wanting Surprise before.) Perhaps just Triple Surprise (I'm not sure everyone wants a threatening cookie.)
Even though descriptive can be good there is so much about this cookie to describe that it either becomes unclear what it means (I would not guess that melmac meant caramel and macadamia nuts.) or it becomes too long (Chocolate, Caramel, Macadamia Nut surprise.)
I vote for Triple Threat Cookies! It is easy to say, and also has me wondering about what the triple threat could be in a cookie! Good Luck!
i think number one has a nice ring to it.
Choco-mel-nut...I like that!!!
I really liked the Chewy Chocomels that someone suggested. You know there is going to be chocolate and caramel. Who wouldn't want to eat those? It's easy to say and also gives a tease as to whats inside.
i love # 2.
Well just gotta toss another into the mix because my Activity Day girls, came up with Mac O'Mels and I liked it!
I have to say that I too like the Triple Threat idea...however, in considering making up a name for a baking contest...I don't think that would fly. They want something cute that has to deal with the cookie (seriously talking out of my butt like I KNOW...but I really think this). Just look at titles in cook books. I don't know...I like
Chewy Gooey Mac 'o Mels (combination of several people have suggested)...still needing help...testing, testing anyone?
#1= chewey gooey melmac cookies. It has just the right ring to it!
