This year I wanted to reuse our decorations for last year (cuz I'm cheap) but I wanted to do something a little different. I got our red and white decorations last year at IKEA and this year I found some orange and red decorations. I only had to buy half the amount of orange and red and then I reused the red ones from last year. I know orange and red aren't traditional Christmas colors, but look how great it turned out!!!!
And of course, a picture of my 3 weird-o's!
Friday Samantha went to see Santa with her preschool class. We were going to take Alex but he had just woken up super cranky from a nap so he didn't want to go. I had to stay home with him while Andy took Samantha and apparently Andy couldn't remember how to use our camera! ;-) So the picture is a little washed out. Oh well, you get the idea.
And of course, a picture of my 3 weird-o's!

good idea about just adding a new color to your ornaments. i was just telling matthew that i was kinda tired of our red and gold. but then i realized that i could easily mix in either green or silver!! time for ornament shopping!!
Your tree is so cute! I do like the nontraditional orange and red theme. You speak so lovingly of the tree...so, I would guess it's fake 'cause I HATE mine and it's real! Oh, and tell Andy to stop making excuses why his camera work was terrible! :)
I love the colors! It is so fun! We are close to being done with putting our tree up...Things just take longer when you have a new baby...which is why I haven't commented for a long time...I am trying to catch up now!

Your tree looks like you - - I like it. Why in the world is it inside though? Don't tell me you've left that funny tradition in the dust! You are the only ones I know that have an outside tree - - I kinda miss it!
Well Ashly, we decided the kids were probably old enough not to touch the tree much, so we opted for an inside tree this year! So far the kids are doing well with it....but I do miss our funny tradition as well!
