This story reminded me of another funny/awful sleepy story......
I went upstairs to nap when I wasn't feeling well one day. Andy was home and downstairs with the kids so I figured all was well. Little did I know that Andy fell asleep on the couch while the two little rascals had some fun a mere 4 feet from sleeping daddy. Samantha some how got a hold of the Vaseline and proceeded to smear it ALL OVER her brother's head. All over her stuffed animal too. Andy woke up and, being the good father he is, took some pictures before bringing them upstairs to wake me up. Nothing like waking up to a HUGE mess. Alex was greasy for days and my carpet still attracts dirt on the "Vaseline spot" as it is now known. This was a couple of years ago but I still cringe when I see Vaseline.

Lol. Love the stories. Did you get the gum out of her hair? I have a story like your vasoline story, only mine involves KY Jelly....and I'll just let your imagination run free with that one.
I remember one time I left leaving my daughter and her friend playing at my house and the neighbors (it was a duplex so they were really the same house). The neighbor was watching, but she was always busy building things. So I got home and choclate milk mix and water was thoroughly ground into the carpet.
Being the thoroughly single father that I was I pretty much let the mess stay for the next 18 months. I didn't get much of my deposit back on that apartment.
That pictures makes my eyes hurt!! All that vaseline can't feel good on your eyeballs!

Oh that picture!!! Wow!!! I have to say I am very impressed you took the time to snap a picture! That gives you a little time to cool off before dealing with the problem!!! Seriously...great picture!
I LOL when I read this one! I have a friend who has a 2 year old and babysits another 2 year old and they both got into the children's vicks vapor rub the other day. One of them must have though it was daddy's pomade because he doused the other's head in it! Apparently, both kids reeked for days and looked like walking grease-heads! Gotta luv kids!
oh my gosh, too funny!! isn't it funny that little kids would just sit there and let someone do that to them? they're so cute, and samantha looks so darn cute in her costume
