Tomorrow afternoon we are driving up to Ogden to pick up a new little parakeet to add to our family!! Well, to add to me anyways. No one else besides my nephew is very excited for her. As Andy said she is "just another mouth to feed". Good attitude, I know!! ;-) It's not like he's even going to have to do a thing to help with her. Much like when we had our kids.....just kidding babe. I REALLY do not want any more babies but I do feel like I want another little thing to love. So, little Pip is going to be just the thing!!
I'll take pictures when we get her home and settled.

You know, I love reading these little updates. It does freak me out a little bit that my "kindergarten best friend" is such a grown up, though! (Especially since I seem to be doing everything I can to AVOID growing up.) You go tell that sourpuss to lighten up. (Kidding, Andy.)
I won't lie - it freaks me out too sometimes. I have a little girl in preschool. My "baby" is 3, and is basically the same size as his sister. That pretty much just means I'm getting old I think though. You'll probably inspired Kristi to write a post about just how much I'm not grown up...
Oh, I love parakeets! Well, you know that 'cause my dad ALWAYS has one and I had one for years! Scott is so anti-pet that I don't think we will ever have any pets :( you'll have to post some pics.
you are a true Ball bird loving girl. I don't know what it is about those Ball women, but they all love birds...Apparantly it is in the genetic code
