It just may be a long summer!
It's hot outside. Strawberry Days for the city of Pleasant Grove started today and they had a children's parade this evening with all the local church groups. Samantha desperately wanted to go so I told her to nap and we could go. She napped. Good and bad. See, I HATE parades. I loathe parades! I especially hate parades in 90 degree weather. The kids whined and complained; Alex ended up on Andy's shoulders and I carried Samantha half of the way. It wasn't pleasant. Maybe they'll remember this for the future and never, ever, ever, ever ask me to associate myself with a parade again.
Oh, and check out that backyard! You'd think with a pool, a sandbox and a trampoline along with numerous other toys the children could entertain themselves all day; but you'd be wrong. They do love to swim and then lay on their towels and have a snack though. It is mighty cute. Oh, and did I mention the heat? Yeah, it's hot. You can tell by my dead grass!

Here, here....on all accounts...hate the parades, don't love the heat, hate it when kids are bored despite all things you buy them to attempt to make them entertained.....HATE yellow lawns.....death to all of those things!
Ummmm.........where were you at the REUNION??? I was SO sad to have missed you! No excuses since you live in Utah and all. ;0)
Sorry Kelli!! No reunion for me. I don't really have a great excuse. I'm lame. But next time you're in Utah let's hook it up!!
Yeah, the heat sucks. It is supposed to hit 110 here in Tucson the next couple days. I mean, I know we live in Arizona, but it still gets old. At least we aren't in Phoenix. It gets all the way down to the 70's at night here.
