Tonight, at the dinner table, I asked Samantha why she hasn't played with one of her friends in a long time. She shrugged her shoulders. I asked if something had happened, a fight or disagreement or something. Again, she shrugged her shoulders. I decided to leave it alone and stop asking questions when Samantha looked at me and, very matter-of-factly, said, "sometimes in life you just have to move on!"  Wise words from my little girl!  Shocking, but wise.

Andy took the day off and we went up to salt lake to the natural history museum. It was a lot of fun and very interesting. Utah is an awesome state!

My Samantha

I just have to brag a little about my Samantha!  She is truly just a sweet and amazing little girl!  Our neighbor and friend threw up in school yesterday and in his hurry to go home left his backpack in the classroom.  His mom asked if Samantha could pick it up after school today because it contained his favorite Lego that he didn't want left at school.  I asked her last night to do it, but forgot to remind her this morning.  

She remembered on her own!

She picked it up, walked it home, and delivered it to their house.
